Last year I made this little pastel sketch. It was originally a plan for a larger painting, but I ended up loving it as is. It is imperfect and raw, she has so much to say in this state and to polish her up seemed wrong. I loved her enough to keep her to myself for a while and only posted her on my personal account last March, but I’m finally ready to let go of her if anyone else would like her. She is my reminder that I am powerful and beautiful in my imperfections.
